We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent ED RN Supervisor to join our dynamic healthcare team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and management, with the ability to inspire and lead a team of healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care, with a focus on ensuring efficient and effective operations in our fast-paced Emergency Department.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent ED RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery, evaluation+improvement of patient care in our Emergency Department. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising nursing staff and overseeing patient care in the Emergency Department.
2. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
3. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
4. Participating in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
5. Responding to emergency situations and providing direct patient care when necessary.
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
7. Managing resources effectively, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.
8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and promoting a culture of excellence.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the ED RN Supervisor position, you must possess the following
Qualifications:
1. Current and valid RN license.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
3. BLS required
4. ACLS, TNCC, PALS and/or ENPC required within 6 months of hire.
5. Previous supervisory experience is not required.
