We are looking for a detail oriented individual to perform laboratory functions such as measuring and compounding of products, process control, and quality control by performing the duties below.
Our business hours are Monday - Thursday 07:
00AM to 05:
00PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Is committed to maintaining a culture that fosters strict standards of cleanliness that contribute to quality control.
Hand washes pots, pans, beakers, utensils, and numerous lab equipment.
Ensures all lab stations and areas have been properly cleaned, sterilized, and placed in proper storage area.
Operates laboratory equipment and instruments including but not limited to mixers, scales, sterilizers, pH and measuring devices.
Calibrates laboratory instruments.
Meticulously inspects ingredients for presence of impurities.
Utilizes work order instruction sheet as a tool to accurately measure ingredients in secluded clean rooms.
Compounds and precisely mixes products to meet specifications that strictly adhere to written formula.
Performs an array of tasks independent from other team members in a timely manner not disrupting the workflow.
Produces written manufacturing reports to immediate supervisor.
Ensures work is performed in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Other duties as directed.

Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related laboratory or production process experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.
Math Ability Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all types of units of measurements, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing and Spreadsheet software.
Certificates and Licenses No certifications required, but knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices a bonus.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to working near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high depending on machines in use.
Production schedules are altered frequently to accommodate demand.
No cell phones are permitted in the lab, fulfillment or office areas except for management personnel.
Upon approval, an exception is made for those who may be in an emergency circumstance.
Cell phone use is permitted in the employee break room only during lunch and other break times.
Inappropriate use of language or conversation is prohibited within the work environment.
Physical Demands The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 60 pounds and team lift and/or move up to 150 pounds.
The use of ladders while carrying ingredients to access larger mixers is common.
Repetitive tasks are performed daily.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms; smell and hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
